Participants are advised to dress in a manner respectful to the adjudicators and to the music that they are performing.  Sandals, slippers and other inappropriate attire are not allowed.


    1. Registration Form is available at Rockschool Thailand Office and

    2. Finalists will be notified by email within 7 days after the qualifying round.

    3. A complete entry consists of the following:
      3.1 A completed Registration Form
      3.2 Registration fee is paid

    4. In the event that a participant is unable to perform at the qualifying round, the participant will be disqualified. Registration fees will be forfeited and not refundable.

    5. Closing date for entry by attending the qualifying round in Singapore will be Friday, 31st May 2019 at 23:59 or by video submission Friday, 7th June 2019 at 23:59. Late entries will not be accepted.

General Rules & Regulations:

  1. Registration fees are not refundable.

  2. Participants are not allowed to take part in more than one category.

  3. Participants for Open Category (A) must not be full time music students studying at Colleges, Universities or Conservatories, music teachers, professional musicians or derive their principal source of income from public performance.

  4. All contestants who perform with backing tracks (Drumless track) must submit them by or before 7th June 2019. Only MP3 and WAV files will be accepted.

  5. The organiser is not responsible for the quality of the backing track or video submission.

  6. The organiser is not responsible for entries not received for whatever reason.

  7. For all participants who enter via video submission, a corresponding email will be sent with full details on video submission guidelines.

  8. All contestants are responsible for all sound tracks and dance copyright issues. The organizing committee will not be responsible for copyright disputes (if any arise). The contestant shall be liable for any loss and/or damage caused to the organizing committee in the event of any dispute.

  9. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and the terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

  10. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, the registration fees will be fully refunded.

  11. The organizing committee shall decide the order of the performance. Participants are required to report at the respective venue at least 15 minutes prior to their allocated time.

  12. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants who arrive later than the scheduled time.

  13. No adjustment to the competition schedule will be made should the contestant fail to turn up at the stipulated timing due to personal reasons.

  14. On the day of the competition, participants are required to verify their identity and age with any photo ID that shows the date of birth (Birth Certificate, NRIC and etc.)

  15. The Organizer will conduct audio and video recording as well as photography. Any contestants who wish to do audio or video photography must inform the organizer in advance. Video recording or photography shall not interrupt the competition. The organizer reserves the right to suspend recording or photography during the competition. By joining the competition, participants agree for the materials to be used for future publicity.

  16. The organiser‘s decision with respect to all matters related to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  17. In case of any dispute, the decision of the organizing committee is final.

  18. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material.

  19. Any personal data and other related information provided in the application form will be used by Asian Supreme Drum Competition 2019 for dealing with the application for participating in the competition and other related purposes.

  20. By entering the competition, the participant agrees to abide fully by the rules and regulations of the competition.
